I am by no means Buddhist. I am, however, largely interested in the behavior of China over the last few years. They've been very restrictive of Christianity and the flow of digital information in and out of their country. They've now gone so far as to ban "Buddhist monks in Tibet from reincarnating without government permission".

HELLO!!! LOL

The powers-that-be want control of every aspect of life in their nation in order to preserve the absurd communism their government holds so dear. Next they are going to try to make God have a passport in order to enter China. Good luck with that.

It is only a matter of time before the people of the nation realize, like the majority of the denizens of A Bug's Life, that they far outnumber and out-opinion their stifling regime.

How many Chinese jail cells are set aside for perpetrators of "reincarnation without a license"? Does that include non-human life forms? How about Nirvana--is there someone at the gate checking passports?
