Bill Gates is on his way out. He's actually been on his way out of Microsoft for some time now. Just about eveyone in the world has heard of him. We've all used the products his giant corporation has produced over the years. I'd like to take this space to recognize his true passion. It is not tech. It isn't his iPod (ya know he's gotta have one of those). It's his foundation. He's leaving his role as a core person in the Microsoft machine so he can go do what he really wants to do. Microsoft is a big front for a massive charitable organization that helps education and health causes obtain much-needed funds and supplies. Amazing how we watch money completely destroy people, drive a wedge between couples, and stir up fights between loved ones. Bill & Melinda Gates are leaving the majority of the Microsoft world in hands that Bill has assured will continue to keep the flow of cash coming, while they go off and spend it on other people. Not your typical response to being the owner of billions of dollars. I hope the best for the Gates'. If his success and attention to detail within Microsoft is any reflection of what his increased attention to the Gates Foundation will be like, I am sure that good things are coming for many people.
